Abstrakty

Przedmiotem rozważań autora jest działalność jednej z najważniejszych komisji senackich, Komisji Spraw Zagranicznych i Międzynarodowych Stosunków Gospodarczych, której nazwę przyjęto w dniu 26 maja 1995 roku (18 grudnia 1997 roku nazwę przekształcono na Komisję Spraw Zagranicznych i Integracji Europejskiej).

The author characterizes selected aspects of the work of the Foreign Affairs Committee (from 26 May 1995 the Foreign Affairs and International Economic Relations Committee) of the Republic of Poland's Senate of the third term. After giving a brief outline of the essence and specifics of the Committee as an ancillary agency of the Senate, the author presents the composition and the main trends of activity of the Committee in 1993-1997. The concluding part is an argument against the views giving low estimate to the work and achievements of the Committee in the period in question. (original abstract)
