Abstrakty

Opracowanie oparto na wynikach badań przeprowadzonych w 1999 roku. Badania objęły 26 byłych przedsiębiorstw handlu zagranicznego (PZH-etów) prowadzących obrót towarowy i dotyczyły procesu przekształceń własnościowych oraz strategii rozwoju tych przedsiębiorstw w latach 90.

This article is based on the results of studies conducted in the spring of 1999, which embraced 26 former foreign trade enterprices. The subject of the studies were the changes in the ownership of these enterprises in the 90s, and the strategies adopted by them. Information was obtained on the basis of analysis of economic and financial reports available from the Polish Ministry of Finance, analysis of annual reports and share prospectuses of the companies, interviews in selected enterprises, and information available in the press and on the Internet. The financial data are for the period up to 1997 inclusive, and in the case of ctock exchange listed companies, also cover the 1998 financial year. (short original abstract)
