Celem niniejszego artykułu jest odpowiedź na pytanie, czy istnieje zależność między poziomem innowacyjności a wymianą handlową danego kraju, oraz wskazanie na źródła i skutki zależności. Przedmiotem analizy jest hipoteza badawcza zakładająca istnienie dwukierunkowej zależności między oboma zjawiskami.

The aim of this paper is to answer the question whether there exists an interdependence between the degree of innovation and the volume of trade of any given country, and to identify the sources and consequences of such an interdependence. The subject of this analysis is research hypothesis determining the existence of a bi-directional independence between both these phenomena. (short original abstact)
