Artykuł prezentuje istotę metody coachingu jak również warunki i zasady stosowania tej metody w praktyce. Autor opisuje następnie genezę i źródło metody mentoringu, rodzaje i rolę mentora w tym procesie. W końcowej części artykułu porównano metody coachingu i mentoringu ukazując różnice i podobieństwa między nimi.

This article presents the origin and essence of the coaching method, as weel as the conditions and principles behing applying coaching methodology in practice. The author then describes the origin and essence of the mentoring method, the main types of mentoring and the role of the mentor in this process. He also presents the various stages involved in implementing the mentoring process. In the final part of the article, the author compares the coaching and mentoring methods, and discusses the differences and similarities between the two approaches.
