Abstrakty

W artykule przedstawiono rynek pierwotny bonów skarbowych. Bony te charakteryzowane są jako państwowe papiery wartościowe, potwierdzające zobowiązanie rządu do spłaty zaciągniętego krótkoterminowego kredytu. Autorka przedstawiła także emisje bonów skarbowych w krajach należących do OECD, grupy emering markets oraz w Polsce.

The article presents issues connected with organisation of selling treasury bonds on the primary market. First of all the author considers the aims of issuing those securities. She analyses types of entities participating in this market, principles and methods used while organising tenders for treasury bonds and characterises the most important features of those securities that significantly influence their attractiveness both for the emitting institution and for the investors. The analysis concerns some selected OECD countries and the countries belonging to the so-called emerging markets. The article ends with a presentation of solutions applied on the primary market of treasury bonds in Poland and their evaluation. (short original abstract)
