Abstrakty

Agrarystyczna koncepcja rozwoju społecznego przewidywała wiele form własności w gospodarce, ale preferowała szczególnie własność prywatną (jest to widoczne zarówno w programie Stronnictwa Ludowego z 1935 r., jak i w programie SL "Roch" z 1943 r. oraz w pogramie PSL z 1946 r.). Agraryści we własności prywatnej widzieli podstawę autentycznego ustroju demokratycznego, zabezpieczenie niezależności obywatela i gwarancję jego wolności. Autor omówił społeczną i ekonomiczną rolę gospodarstw rodzinnych oraz pojęcie i istotę własności społecznej. Przedstawił stanowisko komunistów na własność państwową opozycyjne do poglądów przedstwaicieli PSL w kwestii własności prywatnej. Na koniec autor omówił aktualność agrarystycznej koncepcji własności w obecnych warunkach.

The problems of ownership occupied an eminent place in programmatic discussons of the peasant movement. They showed a concept of a mixed economy whose basis is formed by private ownership with its special form of family property. A significant supplement to this concept was supposed to be a properly understood social proprty (cooperative movement, self-government, etc.). This concept stressed the necessity of close observance of the principles of voluntary character of association, equality of rights and duties of the association members the purpose being man's economic activity and his needs. Social property viewed in such a way did not merge with the state's property but it facilitated realisation of an individual's aims in a social group by way of mutual aid. The key branches of the economy (mining and war industries, communications,, etc. ) were left to the state. As for the remaining spheres, it was feared that nationalisation brought the dangers of: a) bureaucracy of the economic life, b) loss of an individual's subjectivity, c)disappearance of private initiative and enterprise, etc. Historical experiences proved the rightness of the agrarian concept of ownership. One can observe that in many countries the state's role decreases for the benefit of individuals and social groups. (original abstract)
