Przedmiotem rozważań autora są doktryny prawa natury charakterystyczne w kolejnych epokach: starożytności, średniowieczu, nowożytności i współczesności. Na koniec autor omówił koncepcję nowego nurtu jurysprudencji, którą określił nazwą "biojurysprudencji" (prawna ochrona życia człowieka i życia środowiska naturalnego).
There are known numerous studies intended to systematize the doctrines of natural law. The main features of systematization include the separation of the content and function of the doctrines from their determining social background, non-historicism, and borrowing from speculative criteria. Systematization studies developed on the basis of divergent philosophical systems do not favour agreement on the views regarding the cognition and urs interpretation of natural doctrines. An overall analysis of natural law permits to distinguish certain historical and subject matter groups of doctrines that are characterized by a high similarity of philosophical and ideological assumptions, and social conditioning. In a historical interpretation, doctrine groups can be distinguished that are connected with the division of history into epochs: the age of slavery, feudalism, capitalism and the present day. These ages correspond to the respective groups is based on their common representative elements (most discernible on the philosophical level), although they differ in the uniqueness of origins, contents, from and of social function. Author's long-lasting and comprehensive in-depth studies on the doctrines of natural law culminated in the conception of a new trend in jurisprudence, which author has termed "biojurisprudence".
