Abstrakty

Wstąpienie Polski do OECD jest znakiem dojrzałości jej systemu ekonomicznego, jej instytucji i struktur. Autorka przeprowadziła analizę standardu życia społeczeństwa w grupie państw OECD. Wyniki przeprowadzonych badań mogą być przydatne w ocenie strategii i kierunku rozwoju gospodarczego poszczególnych krajów.

The accession of Poland to the Organization of Economic Cooperation and Development - OECD is an expression of the maturity of its economic system, its institutions and structures. The completion of the transformation stage of the system has resulted in the establishment of the market economy in Poland and in its joining the group of the world's highly developed countries. An analysis of the standard of living of the population is carried out by applying the methods of taxonomic analysis - the growth model. The calculated indices and sets of typologic properties have benn applied to characterize the development of the countries under analysis. Gaps existing between them have been pointed out.
