Metody i kryteria oceny oprogramowania bankowego

Warianty tytułu
Methods and Criteria for Evaluating Banking Software
This article attempts to present systematically the prerequisites and conditions associated with the choice of optimal software for computerising bank operations. The difficulty and multi-faceted nature of a decision concerning the choice of program for a bank - despite the very large supply of such software - is indicated. Starting from the assumption that none of the criteria taken into account - technical (computer), banking and organisational - should dominate completely over the other conditions, the article presents a proposed method for evaluating the software on offer and defines criteria for this evaluation which take into account all conditions and needs in a balanced menner. These criteria are obviously not definitive, and should continue to be refined; but already in this form, they make possible a sensible choice of program which will assure a proper level of service from the technical side, at the same time guaranteeing satisfaction of the bank's real needs.
