Abstrakty
Asymetria informacji polega na nierównomiernym jej rozkładzie pomiędzy stronami kontraktów rynkowych. Banki mogą na podstawie odpowiednich charakterystyk łączyć pojedynczych kredytobiorców w grupy o podobnym ryzyku kredytowania. Siła nierównomiernego władania kanałami informacyjnymi zależy w gospodarce rynkowej od przyjętego modelu organizacji systemu finansowego. Autor przedstawił jako przykład system niemiecki (model bankowo-zorientowany) oraz angielski (model o dominacji rynku kapitałowego).
In the conditions of the asymmetry of information the companies, traditional clients of the banks, have considerable difficulties with proper evaluation of their credibility. Similar difficulties are encountered by potential shareholders of the banks, stock exchange investors, rating agencies estimating credibility of the bank issuing debt securities and institutions of banking supervision. It is worth remembring that banks are exceptinally sensitive to the confidence crisis and that this confidence can be only conditional. We make a thesis that the order on the market emerging in the period of system transformations is to a large extent the result of the accumulation of its participants' behaviour. Strengthening of such rules not only moulds credibility of the financial institutions but also helps to create standards of their evaluation. (original abstract)
