Zdefiniowano pojęcia kultury i organizacji. Omówiono koncepcję kultury organizacyjnej danego systemu (przedsiębiorstwa, korporacji, firmy) oraz koncepcję zajmującą się znaczeniem kultury (osobistej, zbiorowej) dla funkcjonowania organizacji.

The organization is the result of culture. It is also a component of culture. The concepts of corporate culture try to reduce the functions of the culture to a simple model of behaviours or to the identification of social characteristics useful in attaining the objectives of the organization. Alternatively, one can acknowledge the importance of "personality" - an individual system of values and motivation. The acceptance of the individual's personality constitutes the basis for modern thinking of the organization's culture. (original abstract)
