Dla firm brytyjskich Polska jest tylko jednym z wielu krajów, gdzie mogą zainwestować swoje środki. Dla naszego kraju zaś Wielka Brytania jest jednym z ważniejszych źródeł kapitału. W artykule przedstawiono znaczenie tych inwestycji dla gospodarki polskiej w latach 90-tych.

This paper compares the role of the British outward FDI in the world investment flows and in the inflow of FDI to Poland. The result of the comparison is that British enterprises are much less active in entering the Polish market than it would be suggested by the scale of their engagement in the world markets. Great Britain is the sixth country in terms of capital allocated in Poland, while being the second source of FDI in the world economy. (short original abstract)
