Abstrakty

Na współczesnym rynku kapitałowym dostrzegana jest rola indywidualnego inwestora. Coraz więcej inwestorów zrzesza się w stowarzyszeniach i klubach, aby wspólnie inwestować, dywersyfikować ryzyko inwestycji oraz wzmocnić pozycję na rynku kapitałowym wobec innych uczestników tego rynku. Zarówno stowarzyszenia indywidualnych inwestorów (SII), jak i kluby inwestycyjne znane są od dawna na Zachodnich rynkach finansowych. W Polsce pierwsze SII zarejestrowano w 1999 r., jednak ciągle nieobecne są kluby inwestycyjne. Dominującą formą "zbiorowego inwestowania" w Polsce są obecnie fundusze inwestycyjne. W artykule omówiono znaczenie indywidualnych inwestorów, ideę działania stowarzyszeń indywidualnych inwestorów i klubów inwestycyjnych oraz pokrótce działalność Stowarzyszenia Indywidualnych Inwestorów w Polsce. Wskazano na kluby inwestycyjne jako konkurenta dla funduszy inwestycyjnych i banków.

A role of individual investor on modern capital market is visible nowadays. More and more investors form unions and clubs to invest, diversify of investments risk and strengthen position on capital market towards another market contributors together. Associations of individual investors and investment clubs are well known since a long time on western financial markets. Despite the fact, the first Polish Associations of individual investors were registered in 1999, investment clubs are still absent. A dominant form of "group investing" in Poland are investment funds. A meaning of individual investors, an idea of associations of individual investors and investment clubs' activity and activity of Associations of Individual Investors in Poland was discussed in the article. Investment clubs treated as competitor for investment funds and banks were also presented by the author. (A.Ł.)
