Abstrakty
Autor wychodzi z założenia, iż przestrzenny obraz świata współczesnego jest trudny do jednoznacznego scharakteryzowania ze względu na częściowo komplementarne, a częściowo sprzeczne wobec siebie tendencje: "ekstencji" przestrzeni i "kompresji" przestrzeni oraz globalizacji i glokalizacji. Autor stara się udowodnić, iż procesy globalizacyjne przyczyniają się zarówno do zamazywania kultury, jak i równoległego z tym postępującego rozszerzenia się światowego pomnika kulturowego.
As we come closer to modern times, the space in which processes of creation, circulation and reception of culture, which are connected with one another, increases. Cultural space changes its form from isolated "isdlands" and "valleys" to a global form. Various processes of variation of culture and of its unification occur in it, and these processes are often in contradiction to one another. Processes of globalisation contribute to the changes in the variety of cultures in the world into its multicultural character whose space or stage becomes now the whole world. On this stage are incesantly created and vanishing various cultural identities which are more or less individual. There are also created and vanish means of their manifestation. We can also observer indistinct attempts at creating the global identity. However, all these processes are not very coherent and lucid. (original abstract)
