Abstrakty

We wstępie do artykułu zaprezentowano pojęcie i formy bezrobocia, podając szczegóły dotyczące jego poziomu i wskaźników w kraju między r. 1992 a czerwcem 1998. Następnie opisano strukturę bezrobocia ogólnie na rynku pracy w województwie krakowskim, oraz w sektorze budownictwa w latach 1995-1997.

In the introduction to the article, the author presents the concept and forms of unemployment together with its causes and effects. She also gives details on the level and rate of unemployment in the country between 1992 and June 1998, as a result of which the situation on the labour market in this period improved considerably. The next part of the article concerns unemployment in the Kraków Voivodeship, with a description of the level, rate and structure of unemployment according to sex, education, and work history. The author also gives details on the percentage of unemployed persons who have never worked, graduates, those who have been mede redundant, and the proportion of unemployed ineligible for benefit. The next problem addressed is the state of unemployment construction industry in the Kraków Voivodeship in the years 1995-97. The author includes, among other things, information about the level of unemployment in the construction industry by quarter, structure, sex, sector and profession. The author also explains the reasons for the decline in the level of unemployment in the construction industry. The article concludes with an assessment of the resources for counteracting unemployment in Kraków and expected trends on the labour market in Poland and in the construction industry.
