Abstrakty

W artykule autor przeprowadza analizę i ocenę rezultatów budownictwa podczas transformacji systemowej na tle wzrostu ekonomicznego od 1992 r. Próbuje wyjaśnić w jaki sposób wzrost gospodarczy wpływa na sytuację budownictwa w kraju. Następnie rozpatruje efekty rzeczowe budownictwa mieszkaniowego koncentrując swoją uwagę na finansowych wynikach tego sektora.

The changes in Poland's socio-economic system that began in 1989 gave rise to a new economic system. Each sector of the economy has taken its own specific path. It should also be stressed that since 1992 the state of the Polish economy has gradually improved. On account of its specific character, and also due to its importance for the national economy, analysis of the performance of the construction industry, especially during the transformation period assumes particular significance. In this article, the author carries out an analysis and an assessment of the results of construction activity during the systemic transformations against the background the economic growth since 1992. He also endeavours to explain in what ways such economic growth has affected the situation in the construction industry itself. After an introduction, in part two of his article the author discusses the conditions shaping the development of the construction industry in the years 1990-1997, in the context of the general economic situation in Poland. In the next part of the article, the author analyses the size and structure of production in construction and assembly. In part four, the author looks at the material effects of housing construction, then concentrates his attention on the financial results of the construction sector. (original abstract)
