Artykuł przedstawia główne kwestie odnoście elastyczności pracy. W literaturze przedmiotu pojęcie elastyczności nie jest jednoznacznie zdefiniowane. Autorka omawia wybrane opinie dotyczące pojęcia i form elastyczności pracy (elastyczność zatrudnienia, funkcjonalna, płac i czasu pracy). Szczególny nacisk kładzie na zasadę pełnego zatrudnienia i koncepcję przejściowych rynków pracy. Na zakończenie prezentuje elastyczność pracy w świetle strategii rozwoju społeczno-gospodarczego Polski.
The article presents the main issues regarding work flexibility. It also contains some thoughts as to the essence of work flexibility, which is not clearly defined in the literature of the subject, and forms it may take (the flexibility of employment, function, remuneration and working time). Particular emphasis is put on such work organization, as to deal with the issues of unemployment and the need to increase companies' competitiveness. The problems depicted in the article are presented in the light of European and US findings on the subject. Moreover, the article also presents their role in the social and economic strategies of Poland. (original abstract)
