Abstrakty

Wiele inwestycji informatycznych to przedsięwzięcia złożone, które poza bezpośrednimi efektami stwarzają możliwości nie dające się w prosty sposób wycenić. Pominięcie tych potencjalnych możliwości przy finansowej ocenie inwestycji może prowadzić do błędnych decyzji.

Many of information technology investments are considered to be complex and difficult. Many of them, apart from direct returns, create opportunities which are very difficult to measure. Omitting of these potential possibilities while financial appraisal of investments can lead to wrong decisions. The article discuss an approach where the potential possibilities of these investments are treated as real options and appraised basing on option pricing models. (original abstract)
