Analizując literaturę przedmiotu autor próbuje zaprezentować sylwetkę osobową skutecznego negocjatora.
The author of the article aims at familiarising the readers with the result of the research on the personality of a successful negotiator. He also points to the current trends of self-development for the negotiation practitioners. The article concentrates on the latest achievements of researches, theoretitians and practitioners in the field of investigating the bahaviour, skills and personality traits of a successful negotiator. Those considerations were based on the results of the latest research (NeilRackham "Houthwaite Research Group",1992) and the achievements of negotiation specialists (such as: Roger Fisher, Roy J. Lewicki, Joseph A. Litterer, David M. Saunders, John W. Minton, Wayne H. Davis, Paweł J. Dąbrowski as well as on the author's own experience. (original abstract)
