Artykuł zawiera przedstawienie dorobku Wyższej Szkoły Zarządzania i Marketingu w Warszawie w zakresie nauczania negocjacji i prowadzonych na potrzeby tego przedmiotu badań naukowych. Autor omawia rolę negocjacji we współczesnej gospodarce oraz wskazuje na znaczenie, jakie negocjacje jako dyscyplina naukowa powinna spełniać w szkołach biznesu. Prezentuje podstawowe założenia realizowanego w WSZiM przedmiotu i dorobek naukowy dla potrzeb procesu kształcenia.
This section contains articles dealing with the development of the University of Management and Marketing over ten years. It begins with the article written by the Rector on the achievements of the University and the role of private universities in the academic circles of our country. The next article is on the quality of the teaching process and its further improvement. It is followed by a discussion of the role of education in the face of new millennium challenges. The next article concentrates on the role of such important links in the process of teaching as: Department of Information Technology, Department of Foreign Languages, library and publishing house. Each of these departments is dynamically developing which in turn has great influence on the image of WSZiM. Following pages present the activity of the Research and Science Institute. The section on the preparations for the jubilee celebrations ends with the example of the most important subjects taught - the problems of negotiations in the teaching process and scientific research in WSZiM.
