W artykule przedstawiono bariery i zakłócenia w komunikowaniu. Autor przyjął podział procesu komunikacji na społeczno-kulturowe, osobowościowe i fuormalne. W istocie poszczególne przyczyny ściśle nachodzą na siebie i wzajemnie się warunkują.

In this article is presented a panorama of barriers and disturbances in communication which decrease the efficiency of communication, or make it difficult to fulfil the intention of the communicative act. First, these are the social-cultural barriers, including differences in the linguistic codes of communication partners, linguistic manipulations, lies, etc. Second, these are the personality barriers, including the functioning of memory, the persence of the so called "preunderstanding", mental diseases, lack of emotional intelligence and the like, Third, there are also formal barriers in communication, including impreciseness of meanings, too complicated structures of utterances, mutual untranslatability of signs, excessive number of signs and communiques, thus difficulties with their selection. In spite of the numerous barriers the dream of creating clear, unambiguous and precise language are utopian as such and not different features of communication are the evidence of such and not a different human world and culture.
