Abstrakty

W latach 1922-1925 Górny Śląsk pozostawał pod wpływem niemieckim. Status regionu Górnego Śląska został zagwarantowany w sposób zapewniający autonomię władzom lokalnym w zakresie bezpieczeństwa państwowego. Autorka w opracowaniu prezentuje różne rodzaje ubezpieczeń społecznych stosowanych w omawianym regionie takich jak: ubezpieczenia na wypadek choroby, wypadku, inwalidztwa a także odrębne zawodowe ubezpieczenia górnicze tzw. brackie.

The development of the economic life in the second half of the 19th century and tightening up the conflicts between the employers and employees made the state interfere in this sphere and bring insurance into force. Between 1922-1925 on the Polish Upper Silesia the German insurance regulation was still in force. It gave more profitable solutions for the insured people than Polish drafts. The status of the Silesian province guaranteed an independence of the Silesian local authority in the sphere of insurance. So, many types of the insurance could function here, eg "brackie" insurance.
