W opracowaniu omówiono finansowanie procesów rozwoju gospodarczego w skali województwa małopolskiego. Opisano źródła finansowania, a także przedstawiono ocenę kondycji finansowej województwa prezentując strukturę dochodów i wydatków budżetów gmin według powiatów.

The subject of this study are the financial aspects of regional development. The author distinguishes between general resources for financing development processes in a voivodship, resources for financing regional development and the financial resources of regional policy. On the example of the Małopolska voivodship, he attempts to assess the financial possibilities for the region's development, taking into account intra-voivodship differences.In assessing the financial condition of the voivodship, the author takes into account financial resources at the disposal of local government, the enterprise sector and households.
