W artykule omówiono pojęcie kredytu handlowego i polityki kredytowej. Zaprezentowano zasady kształtowania polityki kredytowej: maksymalizacja zysku, sformułowanie spójnych procedur oraz dalekosiężne plany przedsiębiorstwa.

In this article, the author looks at the basic principles behind shaping the level and structure of debts arising from supplies and services in an enterprise. In the first part, he defines commercial credit policy and looks at what the fundamental goals of this policy are according to various authors. In the second part, he discusses the role of this policy in managing the financial liquidity and financial resources of an enterprise, and also the basic rules governing the creation of such resources. In part three, the author looks at the structure of the credit process, which is a reflection of a given policy strategy and an algorithm of efficient credit management. The author then proceeds to distinguish between the cyclical and permanent features of the process. (original abstract)
