Abstrakty

Autorka w opracowaniu przedstawiła warunki tworzenia nowych i efektywnych struktur, uwzględniając koncepcje "kluczowych kompetencji" i "procesów" w budowie modelu organizacji przedsiębiorstwa. Główną uwagę skoncentrowała na systemie lean management - metodzie "odchudzonego" (wyszczuplonego) zarządzania opartego na prostych i klarownych strukturach organizacyjnych.

Raising the organisational efficiency of a firm requires the application of various management methods. The more developed a firm is, the more complicated are the streamlining solutions. This paper looks at the conditions for creating effective structures, with special emphasis on the notions of "key responsibilities" and "processes" in the construction of organisational models for firms. The analysis concentrates on the system of lean management as a solution which enables effective and efficient management of both main responsibilities and the most important processes. In order to accelerate the process of designing and supplying new products, and to react to changes more efficiently, an enterprise must "trim down" the scale of its organisation, reduce the number of levels in the hierarchy, and create network structures. This arrangement increases employees' sense of responsibility and has a positive effect on teamwork. The methodology, presented in the article, for preparing and implementing lean management is not an instruction manual, but rather a basis for creative thinking among management personnel. It facilitates understanding of the major processes taking place within a firm, allows for an organisational solution to be established, and for its effectiveness to be measured. Implementing this methodology requires selecting and applying well-known techniques from the fields of management and organisation. (original abstract)
