Abstrakty
W roku 2000 Nagroda Nobla w dziedzinie ekonomii przypadła Amerykanom: Jamesowi Heckmanowi i Danielowi McFaddenowi, za osiągnięcia w dziedzinie mikroekonometrii. Mikroekonometria to zastosowanie metod statystycznych i ekonometrycznych do opisu, analiz, diagnoz i prognoz zachowań gospodarstw domowych, przedsiębiorstw i gospodarstw rolnych. Pierwsza część dotyczy zasadniczo strony popytowej mikroekonomii, a druga i trzecia - strony podażowej. (fragment tekstu)
In the article the author presented achievements of the Nobel Prize winners in economics: Daniel McFadden and James Heckman on the field of microeconometrics and compared them to achievements of the Szczecin team on the University of Szczecin. While McFadden's and Heckman's interests focused on researches into theory of consumer's choice, households behaviours demand choice in the discrete conditions, interests of the Szczecin team on the field of microeconometrics focused on small and medium firms, econometric modelling of inclinations, researches into economic proportions, mass valuation of real estates or analysis of so-called "fading cactus syndrome".
