W artykule scharakteryzowano zintegrowane systemy zarządzania zbudowane w oparciu o trzy systemy zarządzania z zakresu jakości, ochrony środowiska oraz bezpieczeństwa i higieny pracy. Przedstawiono ich koszty i korzyści wdrażania oraz stan obecny i perspektywy wdrażania zintegrowanych systemów zarządzania w polskich przedsiębiorstwach.

The integration of the management systems has become very popular in Polish enterprises. The process of integration of management systems is complex and difficult to implement, since to a large extent it regards the establishment of various configurations of subsystems, according to the enterprise needs, specific character of the given branch etc. However, the advantages offered by the implementation of the integrated management system must deserve attention. A separate functioning of the management systems in the organisation does not allow to perform the tasks set forth. Integration, provided that correctly implemented, enables the optimum utilisation of the potential of each system as well as the performance of all tasks within one coherent management system. In addition, the activity of the standardising bodies tend towards establishing a consistent platform in the form of standards that have a similar structure and are based upon the principle of continuous improvement that is joint for most management areas. The paper presents the fundamental configuratins of the integrated management systems, and indicates the basic integration fields. Then, it has been as well attempted at assessing the degree of the involvement of the Polish enterprises in the implementation of the integrated management systems.
