Abstrakty

W artykule omówiono rolę Średnich i Małych Przedsiębiorstw (ŚMP) w zmniejszaniu bezrobocia na terenach wiejskich. Doświadczenia związane ze wsparciem ŚMP z funduszy strukturalnych w krajach należących do UE wskazują, że może ono przyczynić się do jak najlepszego ich wykorzystania w Polsce po wstąpieniu do UE.

The article briefly discusses the unemployment in rural areas in Poland and points to its main causes. The methods of solving the difficult situation by development of Small and Medium sized Enterprises (SME) against a background of practises in EU countries are presented. The forms of financial support for SME in EU are shown. The article points to possibilities of reducing the unemployment in rural areas by adequate application of structural funds.
