Vehicles for Tram Transport Service in Poland

Abstrakty
Autor przeanalizował sytuację przewozów w komunikacji miejskiej w ostatniej dekadzie i porównał ją do obecnego stanu komunikacji tramwajowej w Polsce. Analiza wykazała, że przewozy zmalały w badanym okresie o ponad 40 procent a sytuacja komunikacji tramwajowej jest bardzo trudna, o czy świadczy utrzymująca się od wielu lat zbyt mała ilość zakupowanych nowych wagonów tramwajowych. Dalej autor przedstawił prognozę rozwoju komunikacji tramwajowej w kraju i na tym tle sformułował podstawowe wymagania odnośnie taboru tramwajowego.
There is some analysis of the situation of transport services in towns in the last 10 years and against this background the present stage of tram transport in Poland is described. It is known, that the number of passangers is on 40 procent lower than 10 years earlier and the situation of tram transport service is very difficult because of the purchases of new tram-cars smaller than a few years ago. The prognosis of tram transport service development in Poland is presented and some demands for tram-cars are formulated. It is admited that taking into account large necessities in quantity and limited finances possibilities of towns the industry should offer wide range of tram-cars beginning from relatively simple and inexpensive ones to modern tram-cars with low floor and alternating-current motor.
