W artykule przedstawiono sposób rozwiązywania problemu pozyskiwania i dynamicznej agregacji danych finansowych niezbędnych do monitorowania bieżącej sytuacji finansowej banku.

This article discusses the concept of development of risk management solution based on capital adequacy calculation as the first part of the whole solution. We address the problem of acquiring financial data and their dynamic aggregation for risk management purposes. This presentation is based on our experience and projects done in financial sector. Development of integrated system that covers all aspects of risk assessment and risk control helps to predict potential threats. The result of better risk assessment is lower capital adequacy requirement and therefore more effective capital allocation. That means individual advantage to the bank and possibility to invest "freed" capital. We assume that requirements introduced by Polish Commission for Banking Supervision on the area of capital adequacy will extend according to Basle Committee recommendations. (original abstract)
