W artykule omówiono badania i pomiary w dużej jednostce badawczo-rozwojowej na przykładzie Instytutu Elektrotechniki w Warszawie. Przedstawiono podejście do procesu przygotowań akredytacji laboratoriów w Instytucie Elektrotechniki.

The importance of the quality assurance system in companies and laboratories is gradually increasing. It is a guarantee of an order in all areas of the company's activity. in a new approach to quality it is testing that is an important stage of a product manufacturing integrated process. The positive testing result is a condition for a product certification. Such certification may be obligatory or facultative. The authors have shown the subject-matter of tests and measurements in the Institute of Electrotechnics in Warsaw, presented algorithm of preparations for approval of the Institute and indicated the substantial importance of training as a tool to shape quality awareness. The presented procedure may be used by laboratories making efforts to obtain approval certificates. (short original abstract)
