Typology of Towns and Communes in South-East Poland in Light of Technical Infrastructure Management

Abstrakty
Autor prezentując typologię obszarów miast i gmin na terenie Polski Południowo-Wschodniej, podkreślił duże zróżnicowanie znajdujących się tam jednostek przestrzennych. W zakończeniu zwrócił uwagę, że podejmowane decyzje społeczno-gospodarcze nie powinny dopuścić do pogłębiania dysproporcji w zagospodarowaniu infrastrukturalnym.
The paper analyses differentiation of technical infrastructure potential and typology of production units in the light of infrastructural management on the territory of South-East Poland. The presented typology of town and commune areas in South-East Poland proves that spatial units, located there, show a high degree of differentiation. Depending on assumed features and research tasks, the units show a substantial degree of similarity, forming in space sets and groups of a specific type. This means that taken social and economic decisions should consider this fact in order not to allow that the existing disproportions in infrastructural management should intensify.
