Abstrakty

Celem opracowania jest wyznaczenie prognoz tempa wzrostu gospodarczego w Polsce w latach 2000-2002. Cel ten osiągnięto przy użyciu dwóch narzędzi: modelu autoregresyjnego oraz za pomocą modelu ekonometrycznego, wykorzystującego wybrany zestaw zmiennych.

The purpose of the paper was to forecast the economic growth rate in Poland in the years: 2000, 2001 and 2002. The aim was reached by using two prediction tools: the autoregressive model of order 1 with the time variable and the multiple regression model with two independent variables. The results (in both methods) showed that the GDP growth would be at least at 4.4 procent level but not more than 5 procent Although the results suggest rather regular growth in 2000-2002, an open question if the rate is fast enough to achieve such level of the development as in the top European countries, still exists.
