W artykule zaprezentowano rezultaty symulacji komputerowych kontroli asymetrii zmiennej diagnostycznej. Symulacje te zrealizowano dla regularnych i nieregularnych procesów.

The control charts are one of the simplest techniques of statistical process control. They are used in industry for monitoring manufacturing processes. The control chart called X-S is used to controlling central tendency and variability of a diagnostic variable. They proposed three methods for monitoring asymmetry. The first one is direct inspection of this parameter. The second and the third propositions lead to monitoring the dependence between the average and the variance from examined samples. There are presented the results of computer simulations of monitoring the asymmetry of diagnostic variable in this paper. These simulations were made for regular and non-regular processes. The three methods of monitoring asymmetry were compared. (short original abstract)
