Abstrakty

Paradygmat nieograniczonego wzrostu otworzył nowy etap w rozwoju społeczno-ekonomicznym części ludzkości. W artykule omówiono jedną z bardziej interesujących teorii zrównoważonego rozwoju - "trwałego rozwoju", dającą szansę i nadzieję na przetrwanie ludzkości - ideę globalnego przetrwania.

The paradigm of the growth without the limit to which the development of the world after the Second World War had been submitted, contributed to the unquestionable rise of the living standards of the part of the humanity on the globe. However, neither were the world's problems solved, nor was the gap between rich minority and poor majority diminished. Instead of the paradigm of the growth without the limit, which had been put into the question by life itself, the alternative models of the further social and economic development started to appear. One of the most interesting is the theory of the stable and balanced development, the so called "sustainable development", which gives good chance and hope for the survival of our humanity.
