Abstrakty

Głównym zadaniem jakie stoi przed Europejskim Bankiem Odbudowy i Rozwoju (EBOiR) jest wspieranie państw Europy Środkowo-Wschodniej w procesie transformacji gospodarczej. Będzie to pomoc w postaci kredytów, kupna akcji lub udzielania koniecznych gwarancji. W opracowaniu omówiono rolę, zadania EBOiR oraz formy pomocy dla konkretnych państw.

The main aim of EBRD established at the begining of the nineties is a support to the Middle - East European countries in the proces of the transformation of their economies. The status of the Bank determined that the help would be directed towards both the public (max. 40 procent and private sectors (min. 60 procent in the form of credits or purchasing of the capital shares (stocks) or giving guarantees. During the first decade of the activity the number of the countries which were offered the help, has increased significantly. At the beginning the first countries which profited from the financial help were the most developed ones in the region. At present - EBRD concentrates mainly on the support of the economies of the countries pretending to join the European Union. (original abstract)
