Celem artykułu jest przedstawienie różnic występujących w sterowaniu przebiegiem produkcji w zależności od stopnia ciągłości i powtarzalności procesów w razie stosowania zintegrowanych systemów zarządzania produkcją klasy MRP II.

Certain market, products and processes attributes of each firm influence the way Manufacturing Resource Planning systems would be designated and implemented, particularly shop floor control. This paper presents management characteristics of intermittent and repetitive manufacturing systems and examines main functions of shop floor control in these two environments. (original abstract)
