Abstrakty

Celem artykułu jest omówienie metodologii projektowania strategii rozwoju firmy i technologii informacyjnej TI/SI. Metodologia łącząca proces planowania strategii firmy z procesem planowania TI/SI sprowadza się do integracji czterech podstawowych elementów na poziomie strategicznej jednostki organizacyjnej firmy (SJO) takich jak: analiza misji firmy, analiza otoczenia, analiza potencjału wewnętrznego, analiza technologii informacji. Integracja wymienionych elementów odbywa się z zastosowaniem metodyki ITSGA, określanej jako ogólne strategiczne działania technologii informacji.

This paper is concerned with direct implementation an active methodology for simultaneously generating Information System (IS) and organisation strategic plans. This methodology allows explicit deduction of an Information Technology/Information System (IT/IS) plan from the present strategic plan. Thus it is very useful procedure for aligning Information Systems Plans with business strategy. That was the main reason we centred our attention on IT/IS planning methodologies that try to integrate this planning process with that of strategic business planning. Using these methodologies (ITSGAs) we tried to ensure that the competitive potential that can be reached through IT/IS be kept explicity in mind during the whole strategic planning process. In that situation the resulting business strategy will already have the IT/IS ingredients that can contribute to achieving competitive advantage. Using the concept ITSGAs which tries to get across the idea of standard actions we demonstrated how organisation can achieve strategic adventages with IS and IT. Many examples have been demonstraded to ilustrate these concepts. (original abstract)
