Przedstawiono zasoby ziemi rolniczej w Polsce, dane dotyczące powierzchni gruntów według kierunków wykorzystania i według rodzajów użytków. Omówiono strukturę agrarna i jej zmiany, problemy związane ze strukturą zasiewów i produkcyjnością ziemi.

The most important means of production in agriculture is land, which is also an object of the production. In Poland for 1 person can be assigned 0,48 ha arable land in 2000, that is so say quite a lot. However, sources of agriculture land have become lesser and lesser. On the other hand, over the last ten years the land area belonging to individual farmers has increased to 83,9 procent of general area. The structure of cultivated land is also being changed, the area of arable land is decreasing, but the area of meadows and orchards is increasing. In the sowing structure we can see growth in the area where cereals are sowing, but area with plants grown for animal feeding, root and industrial crops has fallen. (original abstract)
