Abstrakty

W artykule zaprezentowano internetowe aplikacje baz danych. Scharakteryzowano ich cechy, funkcjonalność oraz zarządzanie witrynami WWW i aplikacjami baz danych. Następnie omówiono narzędzia budowy stron WWW oraz zagadnienie bezpieczeństwa baz danych. Na zakończenie przedstawiono produkty wspomagające systemy zarządzania bazą danych: Internet Information Server, Oracle WebServer, Borland IntraBuilder i Lotus Domino.

Internet application of databases were discussed in terms of their features, effectiveness and the management of the www home pages and of the applications. Then tools for creating www pages were described and the issue of database safety was considered. Finally, a variety of products, such as the Internet Information Server, Oracle Web Server, Borland Intra Builder and Lotus Domino, for supporting database management systems were presented. (J.W.)
