Abstrakty

Przeanalizowano genezę i rozwój reform w obszarze finansów publicznych w wybranych krajach świata. Przedstawiono koncepcję "nowego zarządzania w sektorze publicznym" - New Public Management (NPM). Omówiono zastosowanie koncepcji controllingu w sektorze publicznym.

Public pressure and development of global competition had great influence on implementation of reforms in public administration in many countries of the world. The main goal of reforms was to implement the concept of New Public Management, which should among other things, increase effectiveness and efficiency of public administration operations. This postulate was achieved by using management methods and tools in public sector, which had been used only in business. One of them is controllership, which supports administrative decision making process and directing by delivering relevant information. Using controllership in public administration is possible only when changes in information system and management methods are made. (original abstract)
