Abstrakty

Przedmiotem analizy w opracowaniu były fundusze inwestycyjne działające na polskim rynku w 2000 roku. Autorka uzasadniła wybór roku stwierdzeniem, że był to przełomowy i bardzo interesujący okres dla inwestorów: powstały nowe towarzystwa, działalność rozpoczęło około 20 funduszy inwestycyjnych, a wiele funduszy zmieniło swój profil inwestycyjny (przejęcia, konsolidacje). Autorka porównała oferty firm ubezpieczeniowych z ofertą funduszy inwestycyjnych, a w kolejnym etapie porównała oferty lokat bankowych oraz obligacji skarbowych z funduszami inwestycyjnymi. Na zakończenie porównała zestawienie zbiorcze opisanych w artykule form lokowania kapitału.

The main subject of the article is an analysis of the profitability of the investing in the investment trusts in comparison with other forms of investing the financial surplus. The author has introduced briefly the investment trusts market in Poland 2000, as well as the possibilities and restrictions connected with this form of investing. Because of introducing the insurance reform and the third pillar of the social security, the legitimacy of the investing in the investment trusts has been analysed and also the comparison with the insurance companies has been made. Then the author has presented the comparative analysis in three forms of investing (bank deposits, Treasury Bonds and mutual funds). The article doesn't provide the unambiguous answer: what is the best way of investing money but only presents the results of comparative analysis of the effectiveness of investing in different financial instruments.
