Inwestycje developerskie, to połączenie lokalizacji, pomysłu inwestycji i kapitału oraz wiedzy o rynku i kompetencji marketingowych developera. Inwestycje developerskie stały się nieodłącznym składnikiem rynku nieruchomości i stałym elementem zmieniającej się rzeczywistości. Autorka przedstawiła istotę procesu developerskiego i jego uczestników oraz typy firm developerskich. Określiła także uwarunkowania inwestycji developerskich i ryzyko jakie towarzyszy działalności developerów.

The real estate investment has been become an intrinsic part of the real estate market and fixed element of our environment. Developer is an entrepreneur who has an interest in property, initiates its investment process and provides the funds needed to finance the whole project. The real estate investment consists of location, idea and capital. The commercial properties play a significant role in the investment choices of the developers as they are able to produce income as a rent and as a profit sharing from the operations on the real estate or return of a capital in case of the sale of a project. Real estate investment decision belongs to the most difficult and risky because of the uncertainty and high risk potential which developer should compensate with the substantial financial rewards and a proper rate of return.
