Abstrakty

Wraz z rozwojem przemysłu opakowaniowego zwiększa się obciążenie środowiska zużytymi opakowaniami. Ze względu na znaczny udział tworzyw sztucznych w przemyśle opakowań i ich małą gęstość, zużyte opakowania z materiałów polimerowych, jakkolwiek stanowią mały odsetek wszystkich odpadów, zajmują ok. 1/3 objętości odpadów komunalnych. W artykule omówiono problematykę wykorzystania powtórnie przetworzonych materiałów polimerowych w opakowalnictwie żywności.

The growth of production and use of plastic packaging materials, which are characterized by high resistance to environmental factors, is a problem from the ecological point of view. The analysis of the possibility of repeated use of packaging materials also includes recycled polymer materials in food packaging. In this case the essential problem is to ensure consumers' health safety by using multilayer materials with a functional barrier and to determine the degree of possible migration of compounds from the recyclate. In the paper concentration profiles of the substance migrating through the functional barrier as well as the migration values calculated for packaging material with layers of various thickness are presented.
