W opracowaniu omówiono różne rodzaje wiedzy, definiowanej w zależności od kryteriów epistemologicznych i ontologicznych. W przeprowadzonych rozważaniach przedstawiono wpływ różnorodnych podejść do wiedzy na temat koncepcji firmy.

This paper begins by discussing different types of knowledge defined according to epistemological and ontological criteria, and also different organisational structures and the forms of knowledge particular to them. In the epistemological dimension, the paper then differentiates between explicit knowledge, formal knowledge and tacit knowledge. The ontological dimension concerns the locus of knowledge; that is, who is its object. The object of knowledge may be individual or a group. The paper`s second section discusses the influence of different understandings of the nature of knowledge on concepts of the firm (short original abstract)
