Abstrakty

Tematem swoich rozważań uczynił autor istniejące oraz przewidywane warunki, a także szanse i zagrożenia rozwoju marketingu w warunkach polskich. Po krótkiej historii rozwoju marketingu w skali światowej i w Polsce, autor przeanalizował relacje zachodzące pomiędzy prywatyzacją a marketingiem. Do najważniejszych barier rozwoju orientacji marketingowej przedsiębiorstw zaliczył kwalifikacje menadżerów i załóg. Na końcu przedstawił w jaki sposób orientacja marketingowa rozwija się w różnych sferach gospodarki (rynek dóbr konsumpcyjnych i przemysłowych, usługi, instytucje finansowe).

In this article the author analyses the factors determining the development of marketing in Poland against the background of the transformation of the economy and society. In his introduction the author examines the limited attempts made to implement marketing in practice under the centrally planned economy and the development of marketing in the independent academic world. The author notes the consequences of such actions under the conditions of a developing market economy. Analysing the relationship between marketing and privatisation, the author treats the latter as an important although insufficient lever in the transition of enterprises towards a marketing orientation. A considerable part of this analysis is devoted to the questions of barriers, personnel and skills. In the final part of this article he discusses the development of marketing in different sectors of the economy. (original abstract)
