Abstrakty
W artykule omówiono pojęcie neutralności pieniądza oraz jego związek z inflacją i deflacją. Na podstawie badań neutralności pieniądza wysunięto postulat modyfikacji zadań banków centralnych. Cel inflacyjny banków centralnych uznano za niewystarczający i zbyt ogólny, zaś stosowanie jako głównego narzędzia krótkoterminowych stóp procentowych pozostawia bank centralny praktycznie bezbronnym wobec zjawiska deflacji. Rozwiązaniem wymagającym rozważenia jest, zdaniem autora, przywrócenie celu monetarnego, w postaci założonego tempa wzrostu wybranego agregatu lub agregatów pieniężnych.

In this article discussed concept of monetary neutrality and its connection with inflation and deflation. On the basis of monetary neutrality researches proposed idea of modification of central banks' tasks. The author postulated to restore monetary goal in the form of growth rate of selected aggregate or monetary aggregates.(M.P.)
