In the paper, there are presented the results of the analysis of the performance of enetrprises by size and ownership in 1990-1994. For the enterprises established in 1990 and later, there were estimated such indicators as: birth rate and survival rate. This paper is and update and enlargement of what been published by the same authors in Research Bulletin No. 3, vol. 4, 1995
W artykule przedstawiono rezultaty analizy działalności przedsiębiorstw według ich wielkości oraz własności w latach 1990-94. Dla przedsiębiorstw utworzonych w 1990 roku i później oszacowano takie wskaźniki jak: stopa "narodzin" i stopa "przeżycia". Artykuł jest uaktualnioną i poszerzoną wersją pracy opublikowanej przez tych samych autorów w Research Bulletin nr 3, vol.4, 1995.
