Abstrakty
Gwałtowny rozwój rynku ubezpieczeń w Polsce nie idzie w parze z polepszeniem atrakcyjności i bezpieczeństwa oferowanych produktów. Rozpoczęcie działalności przez niezależną agencję ratingową może wpłynąć na zwiększenie przejrzystości polskiego rynku ubezpieczeń i wzrost zaufania do niego w społeczeństwie. W artykule omówiono istotę i rolę polskiego ratingu, czynniki wpływające na proces tworzenia polskiej agencji i jej procedury ratingowej, oraz wymogi wobec polskiej agencji ratingowej i jej ratingu.(abstrakt oryginalny)
The rapid development of insurance market in Poland is out of keeping with the improvement of attractiveness and safeness of the offered Products. Though, there is a dynamie realization of the one of three fundamenta! principles of insurance protection, which is the commonness, the other two, it means: fullness and reality, have been neglected. Especially, the principle of reality has been attained in insufficient extent. It was resulted from the big number of bankruptcy of the Polish insurance companies which caused an uncertainty among the customers. The proper instruments of counteraction and protection against such situations priveded by the law are now morę effective than at the beginning of the transformation process, however we cannot fully exclude the risk of bankruptcy. The start of activity of an independent rating agency might influence the inerease of transparency of the Polish insurance market and the growth of confidence among the society.(original abstract)
