EN
The purpose of the paper is to point out the method of avoiding the danger of spurious relationship and its effects on the statistical inference. This method consists in the specification of econometric model in such a way that the realization of congruence postulate in Zieliński sense is ensured, i. e. the congruence of harmonic structures for both sides of model is satisfied. To concepts which satisfied the congruence postulate belong: the concept of congruent modelling and the concept of "general to specific" modelling. In the paper the effectiveness of the method leading to the specification of model for which the congruence postulate is realized will be showned on simulation experiments. (original abstract)
